Incorporation of Women Civilian Pilots and Trainees into Army Air Forces

June 14, 1943

This Memo from General Hap Arnold, Commanding General of the Army Air Forces recommended, “women pilots, graduates and trainees, be militarized rather than left in a civilian status.”
